From Florida to Colorado, with stops in Texas and Washington, the recent SpaceCom event in Orlando has kicked off a quarter packed with international industry milestones. Over 50 of Italy\u2019s leading space tech companies will participate in key U.S. events, including ASCENDxTexas in February, the Satellite Conference &amp; Exhibition in March, and the Space Symposium in April (pictured). The <strong>Italian Trade Agency<\/strong> (ITA) and the<strong> Italian Space Agency<\/strong> (ASI) will lead these delegations and manage dedicated &#8220;Made in Italy&#8221; exhibition areas at each event. Blum will support ITA in communication efforts with both Italian and international media throughout these engagements.<\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;spring&#8221; of Italian space tech in the U.S. also serves as a metaphor for the sector\u2019s growth. In 2024, Italy\u2019s aerospace industry recorded significant achievements, generating \u20ac18 billion in revenue and contributing approximately \u20ac8 billion to exports. The American market is showing increasing interest in Italian aerospace, which holds a 3.8% market share valued at over $1.45 billion in 2024\u2014marking a 27.3% increase from 2023. The sector employs nearly 60,000 professionals, a growing figure compared to previous years. Alongside major corporations, Italy\u2019s aerospace ecosystem is supported by a network of specialized SMEs producing components such as composite materials, avionics electronics, and propulsion systems.<\/p>\n<h2>Key Strategic Events in the U.S.<\/h2>\n<p>SpaceCom in Orlando, Florida, brought together the entire space ecosystem, including major U.S. government entities such as NASA, the Department of Defense (DoD), and the Space Force. Italy was represented by a pavilion organized by the ITA Houston Office and ASI, featuring nine leading aerospace companies: Involve Group, Zoppas Industries (IRCA), Leaf Space, Connex Italiana, Tekrevolution, Davi Promau, Intella, Progetti Speciali Italiani, and Eie Group. They were joined by an institutional delegation from the Piedmont Region, home to one of Italy\u2019s key aerospace clusters. Companies had the opportunity to participate in targeted B2B meetings with dozens of qualified stakeholders, as well as a dedicated networking session.<\/p>\n<p>ASCENDxTexas, a summit organized by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA)\u2014of which ITA is a member\u2014brings together the space community to share innovative strategies and global market opportunities. The 2025 event will take place on February 26\u201327 in League City, Texas.<\/p>\n<p>One of the industry\u2019s most significant annual events, the Satellite Conference &amp; Exhibition in Washington, D.C., will be held from March 10\u201313. The conference gathers all sectors that rely on satellite technology, spanning telecommunications, defense, healthcare, and automotive industries, among others.<\/p>\n<p>The Space Symposium, set for April 7\u201310 in Colorado Springs, will conclude the program with a delegation again led by ITA in partnership with ASI.
